Here's a look at some of the events I've organized in my career. I have been fortunate to be part of a variety of events including running events, galas, youth clinics and many, many once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Kansas City Royals World Series Parade
In 2015 when the Royals won the World Series, they called on the Kansas City Sports Commission to organize the victory parade. We managed the route, the logistics, communications, volunteers and many other aspects for this amazing event.
Kansas City Sports Commission Banquet
The Annual Kansas City Sports Commission Banquet recognizes leaders in the community who have positively impacted sports in Kansas City.
CEO Celebration
We planned and organized the finale experience for the Chief Executives Organization in Kansas City, Mo.
Kansas City Marathon
I was the Race Director for the Kansas City Marathon from 2012-2016.
PAL Draft
The KCMO PAL and the KCK PAL organizations came together for the first collaborative fundraising gala crossing state lines for a highly successful first-year event.
St. Agnes Annual Auction
I have worked in a variety of roles for the St. Agnes Annual Auction. In 2019, the event raised 30% more than ever before.
CHWC Rooftop Event
CHWC hosted an outdoor event to celebrate their annual campaign with a fabulous rooftop setting at the Legends.
Bishop Ward Golf Tournament
The alumni of Bishop Ward have a long-standing golf tournament tradition that continues to be popular.
Youth Clinic Series
When I was with the Kansas City Sports Commission, we started the Youth Clinic Series, which is a yearlong series of clinics that bring the love of sports to children in the Greater Kansas City community.
Art Unleashed
The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City hosted Art Unleashed and raised much needed funds at their annual gala.
Big 12 Run
The Big 12 Run was established in 2013 to compliment the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament.
WIN for KC Women’s Triathlon
The WIN for KC Women’s Triathlon is the largest all-women triathlon in the area.
Relay the Way, Urban Youth Academy
In 2016, I worked with Urban Youth Academy, Major League Baseball and the Kansas City Royals to create the longest first pitch for opening day at Kauffman with Relay the Way.
I-35 Challenge
The I-35 Challenge was an initiative with the Kansas City Marathon to partner with the Des Moines Marathon.
CHWC’s 20th Anniversary
We threw a great party to celebrate CHWC’s 20th Anniversary including tours of the homes they are revitalizing.
